How this works, and how far to trust it

Where our data comes from

We read each network's access policy directly from the operator's own page and re-check it on a schedule. Every lounge profile shows its source and freshness so you can judge it yourself. Three verification tiers:

• Live-verified — read from the official source and re-checked daily.
• Assisted / reference — sourced from official or reputable references but not yet behind our automated live check (often because the page blocks automated reads).
• Seeded — a documented starting point we are working to verify.

Known gap: American Airlines Admirals Club blocks automated reads, so it currently runs on reference data rather than a live check. We never invent policy text — if we can't verify it, we label it. Last data sweep: 2026-06-05.

How we estimate value

We value a single lounge visit at roughly $45 — a reasonable stand-in for food, drinks, Wi-Fi, and a seat.

• Net value = lounge access value + statement/travel credits you'll realistically use + free-guest value − the annual fee.
• Lounge value is weighted heavily toward your home airport, since that's where most of your visits happen.
• Credits are discounted by a realization rate, because most people don't redeem 100% of a card's credits.
• No card pays to rank. The ranking reflects value to you and nothing else.

Your actual value depends on how you travel and spend. Treat these figures as a starting point, then verify card terms with the issuer before applying.

Lounge Intelligence is built to need as little of your data as possible. We don't run accounts, and we don't ask you to sign in.

Your wallet stays in your browser

Your wallet — the cards, status, and ticket class you select — and your theme preference are stored only in your own browser (local storage). We don't send your wallet to a server, and we can't see it. Clearing your browser storage clears your wallet. Using a different device or browser starts fresh.

Analytics and cookies

As of the date above, this site runs no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, and no tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is the local storage described above, which never leaves your device. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will describe it here before turning it on.

Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some credit-card links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave Lounge Intelligence and go to the issuer's own website, where the issuer's privacy policy and tracking apply — not ours. The issuer or its affiliate network may use a cookie or tag to credit the referral. We never receive or store your application data. See our advertiser & affiliate disclosure for how this works.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't collect personal information or run accounts, there is no personal profile for us to access, export, or delete. You can clear everything we store at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Residents of California and other regions with privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR) have rights over their personal data; since we do not collect or sell it, those rights are satisfied by design. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
